Job Function
- Program, Setup and Operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal machining centers utilizing G-Code programing.
- Program, Setup and Operate CNC Turning centers utilizing G-code programing.
- Select proper tooling to machine components as needed.
- Read and understand machining prints
- Identify worn tooling in order to replace or adjust offsets.
- Machine components to customer supplied prints and tolerances.
- Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers etc. to check machined components.
-Machine components to better than +/- .002 tolerances.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Proven ability to Program at the machine utilizing G-Code Programing.
- Proven ability to measure parts with common metrology equipment.
- Ability to follow direction to achieve shop goals.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership.
- Available to work overtime if needed.
Considered a Plus:
- Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Tolerancing).
