About This Role
The CNC Machinist operates and maintains CNC machines to produce high-quality parts, playing a crucial role in the production process. This position suits a candidate with a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in CNC Machine Operator, CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, Machinist
- Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Bridgeport, Mazak, ProtoTRAK, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Kitamura, Makino, Brother, Hurco, Dmg Mori Seiki, Hwachon)
- Experience with CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Takisawa, Dmg Mori Seiki, Samsung, Murata, Fuji, Nakamura, Hyundai - Wia, Hwachon, Quick Tech)
- Experience with CAM Software (Mastercam, Esprit, HSM Works, Mazatrol, GibbsCAM, Autodesk Fusion 360, Promill, Bobcad, Surfcam, Siemens NX, Sprutcam)
- Experience with CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Kitamura, Matsuura, Mikron, Dmg Mori Seiki, Hwachon)
- Experience with CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Index, Eurotech, Miyano, Dmg Mori Seiki, Samsung, Nakamura, Hwachon)
