As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will drive production excellence by transforming raw materials into high-precision components that meet rigorous engineering standards. You will leverage your expertise in CNC tooling and technical documentation to ensure every part produced aligns with exact blueprint specifications while contributing to our ongoing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex machining operations by interpreting technical drawings and applying precise NC programs.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy by utilizing advanced hand metrology tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Maximize production throughput by accurately logging cycle times and operational data into digital management systems.
- Maintain high-quality output by monitoring scrap rates and proactively identifying opportunities for process refinement.
- Uphold organizational standards by assisting in quality management system audits and maintaining a pristine, hazard-free workspace.
- Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and improve overall manufacturing consistency.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating CNC machining centers with a focus on precision tolerances.
- Advanced proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
- Hands-on expertise with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong computer literacy for data entry and production reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies or lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and internal audit support.
