CNA/Caregiver - Norman, OK (Weekly Pay)

BrightStar Care of Oklahoma is hiring CNAs and Caregivers in the Norman area immediately!

We are currently seeking reliable, compassionate, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) and Caregivers to provide One-on-One care to clients in their homes throughout Norman, OK and surrounding areas.

We have an Immediate Need for Additional CNAs/Caregivers in Norman due to increased client care needs.

Current Norman Care Opportunity:

We are currently seeking caregivers for a young male client who requires assistance with daily care.

Available Shifts:

• 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Daily Availability

The client is nonverbal but is able to communicate using an alphabet board. He is able to stand and pivot but will require assistance with transfers. CNAs/Caregivers should be physically capable and comfortable assisting with transfers.

Experience with any of the following is highly preferred:

• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Care
• Rehabilitation Facilities
• Transfer Assistance
• Mobility Assistance
• One-on-One Home Care

We are especially interested in CNAs/Caregivers who are dependable, patient, compassionate, and comfortable providing hands-on assistance.

CNA Requirements:

• Current CNA Certification
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Current Vehicle Insurance
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to Transport Clients in your Personal Vehicle when necessary

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous Caregiving or Home Care Experience
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Current Vehicle Insurance
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to Transport Clients in your Personal Vehicle when necessary

Care Responsibilities:

Depending on each client's individual needs, responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care and Hygiene Assistance
• Shower Assistance and/or Bed Baths
• Changing Adult Briefs
• Toileting Assistance
• Meal Preparation and Cooking
• Laundry
• Light Housekeeping
• Transferring and Repositioning Clients
• Using a Gait Belt
• Changing an Occupied Bed
• Vital Signs, Including Pulse and Blood Pressure
• Urinary Catheter Care
• Hoyer Lift Assistance
• Mobility Assistance
• Companionship and Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
