Joining the Infrastructure Architecture & Engineering practice within the Digital Core Reinvention group, the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer helps large organizations transform their technology landscapes through innovative cloud and infrastructure solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills to design and deliver complex hybrid cloud transformation programs. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining hands-on engineering with customer engagement, solution design, and strategic technology consulting.
Responsibilities
Design, engineer, implement, operate, and govern hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions
Support the full project lifecycle, from strategy and assessment through design, implementation, migration, optimisation, and ongoing operations
Develop scalable, secure, resilient, and automated infrastructure platforms that meet client business outcomes
Contribute to cloud transformation programmes, infrastructure modernisation initiatives, and large-scale migration projects
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout cloud and infrastructure transformation journeys
Facilitate workshops, gathering business and technical requirements whilst translating complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, adapting your approach to suit senior executives, business leaders, and engineering teams
Present solutions, recommendations, and project updates confidently to clients and internal stakeholders
Stay current with emerging cloud, infrastructure, automation, and security technologies
Bring innovative thinking and industry-leading practices to client engagements
Support and mentor junior team members whilst contributing to Accenture's technology communities and capability development
Help shape solutions and proposals for existing and prospective clients
Requirements
Proven success working within infrastructure architecture, engineering, consulting, or technology delivery teams
Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders in a consulting, advisory, or professional services environment
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience leading workstreams, coordinating teams, and managing priorities within fast-paced transformation programmes
