Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and support Windows Server/Wintel infrastructure and related server environments.
- Perform administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Linux operating systems .
- Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and overall infrastructure health.
- Manage and support virtualization platforms , including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Support cloud infrastructure and services, including Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking and storage technologies , including SAN and NAS.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions .
- Perform server upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and maintenance activities.
- Apply infrastructure security best practices , access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis to ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, application, and support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.
