About This Role
This Cloud Architect role involves designing, building, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, including cloud landing zones and migration initiatives. The position suits an experienced professional who can provide technical leadership and drive automation in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure cloud solutions across Azure and AWS
- Build and manage cloud landing zones (identity, governance, networking, security)
- Lead cloud migration transformation initiatives, including assessments, wave planning, modernization, and execution
- Develop reference architectures, HLDLLD, and cloud design patterns
- Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure compute, storage, networking, load balancing, monitoring
- Deploy and manage PaaS services (AKSEKS, App Services, Functions Lambda, managed databases)
- Define and enforce cloud security, IAMRBAC, encryption, and governance frameworks
- Architect hybrid connectivity (VNetVPC, VPN, Express Route Direct Connect)
- Drive automation using Terraform, Bicep ARM, CloudFormation, and CICD pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams provide technical leadership
Requirements
- 9+ years of work experience with AWS Lambda
- 8+ years of work experience with Microsoft Azure
- 8+ years of work experience with Databases
- Strong expertise in Azure/AWS cloud architecture, landing zones, hybrid networking, security/IAM, governance, migration, and scalable infrastructure design, with hands-on knowledge of AKS/EKS, PaaS services, managed databases, and monitoring
- Proven experience with Terraform / Bicep / ARM / CloudFormation, CI/CD automation, reference architectures (HLD/LLD), cloud transformation, and providing technical leadership across DevOps, Security, and Application teams
