Terros Health is looking for a licensed Clinician for our Stapley location in Mesa, AZ

Full Time

40 hours/week

(11:30am-8pm: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday)

(8am/8:30am-4:30pm/5pm: Tuesday and Friday)

3 Evening Shifts, including IOP Groups

Experience Treating Co-Occurring Disorders Preferred

Behavioral Health Experience Preferred, New Grads Considered

EMDR Trained is a PLUS

Arizona License Preferred: LCSW, LPC, LIAC, LMSW, LAC, LAAC or LMFT in Good Standing

AZ Licensure Reimbursed When Renewed as a TH Employee (according to Policy)


Duties Include:

  • Provide outpatient counseling services which may include adults, children, adolescents, families, couples and groups using the Triple Aim framework of “Better health for the population, better care for the individual and lower cost per capita.”
  • Run IOP Groups as assigned.
  • Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients; Ability to determine and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Participate in treatment planning with each individual and/or family to improve overall health.
  • Responsible for intakes, assessments, treatment and discharge planning, and group counseling through evidence-based practices.
  • Thorough understanding of clinical documentation requirements and procedures; Charts progress, maintains clinical records and ensures implementation of treatment and discharge plans.
  • Monitors and follows up on client needs, and submits monthly service reports as required or needed.
  • Coordinates services as necessary working in collaboration with various State, Federal, and local agencies.
  • Provides client-centered outpatient clinical services to individuals/families.

  • Must possess a Master’s degree in a related discipline, i.e. MA, MC, MSW, Arizona behavioral health license (other than LBSW) or eligible for Arizona license from Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

  • Must have ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary and appropriate. CPR class provided in New Employee Orientation.

  • Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records - NextGen a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.

  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.

  • Must pass a Background Check, Drug Screen and TB Test.
