About This Role
This clinical supervisor role at Frye Regional Medical Center involves overseeing the daily activities of staff who provide patient care. The position supports the hospital's mission of making communities healthier by ensuring quality service delivery and staff compliance with policies.
Responsibilities
- Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff
- Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Assess and ensure quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs
- Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
- Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels
- Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints
- Serve both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors
- Access and/or work with sensitive and/or confidential information
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
- Apply policies and procedures
- Understand Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices
- Lead the work of others who perform essentially the same work
- May set priorities, schedule, and review work, but have no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance, and/or make pay decisions
Requirements
’s degree in a related field preferred
- Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
