Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Med - Hematology & Oncology, is seeking a Clinical Research Administrator I.
This position will support the coordination of cancer care delivery and implementation science research studies. Responsibilities include assisting with participant recruitment and study coordination; supporting interviews, focus groups, and other research activities; maintaining study and regulatory documentation; organizing research data; and assisting with the analysis and dissemination of findings. The position will work across multiple collaborative research projects focused on improving cancer care delivery.
General Responsibilities
- To manage intake, triage, assessment and distribution of study materials.
- To collect and process information related to studies.
- To maintain records and documentation.
- To maintain study s compliance with institutional requirements.
- To work with sponsors/study team to arrange required trainings and meetings.
- To maintain familiarity with appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruits study participants.
- Submits IRBs.
- Maintains study documentation.
- Conducts participant interviews.
- Conducts focus groups.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Hourly Range: $18.85 - $30.65
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
