Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to join the Specialty Pharmacy team at HUP . This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care within one of the nation's leading academic medical centers, helping patients achieve optimal outcomes through specialized medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive medication management and patient-centered pharmacy services
• Review, verify, prepare, and dispense specialty medications for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Monitor and manage drug therapies to improve patient outcomes and ensure medication safety
• Provide timely drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients
• Participate in medical emergency response and uphold medication-use policies and guidelines
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support pharmacy operations across HUP locations as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License (Required)
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited College of Pharmacy (Required)
