Clinical Operations Manager (Data Review) - UK (homebased)

About This Role

This role is for a Clinical Operations Manager focusing on data review, primarily responsible for ensuring customer delivery and success, driving business impact, and providing people leadership within a functional service provider (FSP) model. Responsibilities

• Ensure the team provides quality deliverables and meets customer expectations
• Manage performance and daily activities of multifunctional team members to excel in service delivery and compliance with agreed-upon KPIs
• Develop and execute mitigation and remediation plans for non-compliance as needed
• Proactively communicate and manage customer issues through assigned escalation channels
• Drive revenue by attracting, selecting, and retaining talent
• Attend and participate in FSP360 account meetings, regional management team meetings, and Town Halls
• Provide line management to FSP360 team members
• Actively manage team members' performance through the established Syneos Health process, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and implementation of performance improvement plans as necessary
• Verify that team members adhere to training guidelines and maintain their training records
• Identify and address individual and corporate training needs
• Provide administrative oversight (for example, HR processes, timecards, expense reports)
• Review workload and utilization for all team members
• Support team members' professional development through coaching, providing opportunities to increase knowledge and skill levels, and by delegating tasks commensurate with skill level
• Support and advocate for team members to develop their Individual Development Plans
• Proactively work to ensure team members' engagement, retention, and turnover rates remain within expected levels
• Recognize team members while encouraging a culture of accountability
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development of all staff, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical research experience preferred
• Experience in the line management of clinical research staff
• Bachelor
• s degree in life sciences, nursing degree, or equivalent related experience, plus extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Company, including some time in a leadership capacity or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
