Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN)
oversees daily operations of an acute care unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, managing staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource use, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and driving quality improvement initiatives. In the absence of leadership, the supervisor assumes operational responsibilities and provides direct patient care within RN scope.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a current RN license, a BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in leadership preferred.
