Role Overview Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and respecting patient values and cultural considerations. Maintains safety-sensitive practices with alertness and safe work habits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Current RN license
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
