Clinical Nurse - Pre-op/Post-op/PACU - Part Time

Role Overview This nursing position involves providing direct patient care within pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU settings, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medication administration, and managing health conditions.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Licensure as an RN is mandatory.
• Experience is preferred but not required; two years of experience and supervisory roles are advantageous.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work safely with constant alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
