Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The role combines clinic nursing, scheduling, chart preparation, medical record retrieval, and RN phone triage.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
- Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing and RN licensure; preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 2 years of experience.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
