Role Overview: Provides direct patient care within established nursing standards, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Ensures patient and family-centered care, promotes safety, and participates in professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
- Participates in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
- Experience: No experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred.
