Clinical Manager

Managing the clinical operations across multiple family medicine clinics, this role involves supervising nursing and support staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and contributing to staff development and policy implementation. Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and EFM Policies
• Adhere strictly to EFM departmental standards and policies, including state and federal regulations
• Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, managers, and patients via phone, email, or in person
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and assign work; establish goals and priorities for nursing and support staff in a health care setting
• Provide supervision over the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in an assigned health care setting
• Assess available resources, patient needs, and workflow and assign staffing based on findings and patient acuity
• Assist in the development and implementation of staff education and orientation, specific job-related training, and other approaches to provide opportunities for staff flexibility and development
• Assist in resolving problems encountered by the employee or patient
• Coordinate and participate in the development of the performance evaluation program for functions within the nursing staff, monitor and document performance, provide ongoing feedback regarding levels of performance, and formally evaluate employees in relation to performance and training
• Assist in the development and implementation of the interview and hiring process
• Implement safety and quality improvement standards and develop procedures to ensure compliance
• Implement and interpret policies and procedures
• Assist in developing, recommending, and coordinating the implementation of new procedures for the assigned functions of the nursing staff
• Develop and implement nursing protocols and standing orders within all nursing guidelines
• Give necessary instructions in the performance of special clinical or health procedures in the utilization and maintenance of new equipment
• Maintain personnel productivity at acceptable levels
• Participate in various company and community outreach functions and committees (e.g., health fairs, volunteer programs, QI Committee, PCPCH Committee)
• Perform full performance level professional nursing work and enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reviewing current literature, in-service meetings, workshops, and research
