Job Summary
Coordinates the total nursing care plans for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel maintaining standards for professional nursing practices in the clinical setting. Resource for department clinical staff regarding practice and clinical care provided. Assist program director in managing resources for the day to day operations of wound care center, in addition to maintaining nursing standards to meet state and federal requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Completion of an Accredited nursing program
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Preferred
- One year of Healthcare/Medical Management in a Wound Treatment Center
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
- Preferred
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Wound, Ostomy, & Continence Nursing Certification (WOCNCB)

Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri 8-5
