About the role

The Clinical Education Specialist, reporting to the Head of Clinical Education, is responsible for developing and activating customer communities, engagement initiatives, and educational experiences that strengthen relationships with dental professionals and support Nobel Biocare's clinical education and commercial objectives.

The role focuses on building communities around key customer segments, professional interests, clinical disciplines, and treatment workflows, creating meaningful opportunities for education, professional development, networking, and peer-to-peer exchange. By leveraging Nobel Biocare's educational ecosystem, faculty network, customer base, and clinical resources, the role helps increase customer engagement, advocacy, and long-term loyalty.

Working closely with Global Marketing, Product Management, Regional and Local Marketing, Clinical Education, and Sales teams, the role translates global priorities into scalable frameworks, concepts, and activation models that can be implemented effectively across markets. The position requires a hands-on, customer-facing approach to community activation, educational engagement, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring initiatives support both customer value and business objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and activate professional communities aligned to strategic customer segments, clinical interests, treatment workflows, and commercial priorities.
  • Create educational and engagement initiatives that foster professional development, networking, peer-to-peer learning, and ongoing interaction with Nobel Biocare.
  • Design customer engagement journeys that connect educational programmes, community participation, portfolio priorities, and business objectives.
  • Develop scalable concepts, frameworks, toolkits, and activation models that enable consistent implementation of community and engagement initiatives across global markets.
  • Support regional and local teams with guidance, best practices, communication approaches, and resources to successfully execute global programmes at a local level.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Education, Marketing, Product Management, and Sales teams to ensure community and engagement activities support customer development objectives, product initiatives, and commercial priorities.
  • Leverage Nobel Biocare's network, educational assets, customer relationships, and professional communities to maximize participation, engagement, advocacy, and educational impact.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, clinicians, faculty members, speakers, mentors, and community leaders to support educational and engagement initiatives.
  • Track participation, engagement, and agreed performance indicators to evaluate programme effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve customer value and business impact.
  • Gather insights from customers, local markets, and internal stakeholders to continuously refine community strategies, educational experiences, and engagement models.

Job Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, dentistry, life sciences, education, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in clinical education, customer engagement, healthcare marketing, community activation, professional education, product marketing, or related customer-facing roles.
  • Experience within the dental industry is highly desirable. Experience within healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries is also relevant.
  • Understanding of how educational and engagement initiatives support customer development, product adoption, and commercial objectives.
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals, clinicians, faculty members, speakers, professional groups, or key opinion leaders is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the dental education sector, customer needs, and professional development landscape is desirable.

Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)

  • Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, materials, follow-up actions, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Clinical Education, and local market teams to deliver commercially aligned initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and activate customer engagement initiatives, professional communities, and educational activities that drive participation and customer value.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical frameworks, activation plans, customer-facing content, and educational programmes linked to business priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with healthcare professionals, combined with experience using digital engagement, learning, webinar, CRM, or marketing platforms.
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English.

Critical Experience

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in clinical education, sales enablement, customer education, product marketing, healthcare marketing, professional education, or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting commercially linked education programs or product-related customer engagement activities.
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals, clinicians, speakers, faculty, or key opinion leaders.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects with marketing, sales, product, and regional or local teams.
  • Experience in dental, medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting events, webinars, digital learning, or hybrid education programs.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
