Role Overview The Clinical Nurse Specialist supports a 38-bed surgical unit caring for patients undergoing Colorectal and Urology surgeries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and evaluates education and practice programs to enhance clinical staff skills and patient care quality.
- Coordinates hospital-wide educational initiatives and resources to support clinical educators and leaders.
- Analyzes educational needs, designs cost-effective programs aligned with adult learning principles, and evaluates their effectiveness.
- Collaborates with administration, staff, and system personnel to develop education plans that meet care standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree required; RN or RRT license.
- 2-5 years of experience; preferred 5-10 years with advanced certifications.
- Strong knowledge of clinical education, program development, and regulatory standards.
Additional Info The role is onsite, Monday-Friday, with no weekend duties. It emphasizes leadership in education, program management, and collaboration to improve patient outcomes and staff development.
