Clinical Director

About This Role

Caring for the clinical quality and professional development of a multidisciplinary team is the core of this Clinical Director role. This position suits a doctoral-level licensed psychologist passionate about clinical excellence, mentorship, and organizational leadership within a growing private practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance, consultation, and formal supervision to licensed and pre-licensed clinicians
• Support clinicians with complex cases, ethical concerns, treatment planning, and appropriate levels of care
• Collaborate with clinicians to establish professional development and performance goals
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback, mentorship, and support
• Partner with leadership to address clinical performance concerns and promote professional growth
• Oversee clinical documentation, including routine chart audits and monitoring of treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge procedures
• Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, HIPAA, and organizational standards
• Develop and refine clinical policies, procedures, forms, and documentation templates
• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning, and organizational decision-making
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of new clinical programs and services
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows, service quality, and clinician engagement
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and accountable clinical culture
• Maintain an approximately half-time clinical caseload
• Provide evidence-based psychological services consistent with professional expertise and practice needs
• Model high standards of clinical care, documentation, and ethical practice

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field
• Active, unrestricted Florida Psychologist license, or eligibility for licensure prior to employment
• Demonstrated experience supervising clinicians and providing formal clinical supervision
• Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and clinical documentation
• Experience providing professional mentorship, performance feedback, and clinical consultation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to balance supportive leadership with accountability and clear expectations

Nice to have:
