About the role

Role: Clinical Dietitian responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nutrition assessments, develop diagnoses, and create individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Implement and evaluate nutrition interventions, including managing enteral nutrition support.
  • Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Utilize the Nutrition Care Process, document patient encounters, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and mentor dietetic interns.
  • Stay current with research, evaluate practice effectiveness, and engage in professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics from an accredited program.
  • Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensed Dietitian (LD) through the state within 6 months.
  • One to two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
