Bluebonnet Family Clinic is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator to serve as a vital link between our front-office and clinical operations.
This unique role combines Medical Assistant and Medical Office Specialist responsibilities to support providers, improve patient experience, and ensure efficient clinic workflow.
What We're Looking For
- Team-oriented individual with strong attention to detail and initiative.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinic setting required.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred.
- Strong skills in patient care, and accurate clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to respond to patient needs both in-person and by phone.
- Experience in both clinical and administrative healthcare functions.
- Dependable, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

What You Will Do
- Perform basic patient assessments including vital signs, height, weight, and history gathering.
- Identify and communicate urgent concerns to the physician promptly.
- Respond to patient-related phone calls, assess needs, document actions, and communicate with physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charge entries.
- Support data management processes and other clinic operations as needed.
- Support front desk operations during staffing shortages or high-volume periods.
- Collect payments and assist with balance collection efforts.
- Assist with quality control activities and clinic compliance initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for Medical Office Specialists and Medical Assistants with clinic workflows.
