About the role

As our Cleaner, you’ll play a vital part in keeping the school running smoothly by creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. You’ll deliver high‑quality cleaning support across the site and take pride in completing all tasks to the standards set by your supervisor and the school’s cleaning program. Your reliability, attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a great learning space will make you an essential member of our team.

A day‑cleaner role working 9:00am-3:30pm (including a 30‑minute break), responsible for opening and closing gates, general rubbish collection, and responding to spot‑cleaning requests across both Junior and Senior campuses.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

About the role:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
  • Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
