About the role
Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. This long-term partnership reflects Downer's strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high-quality services at scale.
We currently have an opportunity for Cleaners to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland's national portfolio, supporting Stockland's Baringa Town Centre.
We are currently seeking casual cleaner for the following roster:
Baringa Town Centre - Wednesday 11:00 am - 19:00 | Thursday 11:00am - 19:00 | Saturday 6am - 11:00
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Perform routine cleaning of facilities, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas
- Clean and sanitise high-touch areas and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with safety guidelines
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and report any maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety procedures while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining a professional approach
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in cleaning roles across commercial, residential, or similar environments
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Understanding of workplace health and safety and basic sanitation practices
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to follow procedures, communicate effectively, and report issues as required
- Must have Working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain
- Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks which includes National Police Check and medical.
