Out Back Surfacing are experts in the surfacing field with over 50 years experience within our team.
We're currently looking for motivated Class 2 / 4 Chip Truck Drivers to join our Surfacing team in New Plymouth, we have full time, part time, casual, and contracting opportunities available.
Reporting to the Surfacing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving and operating vehicles, digging, shovelling, and sweeping, chip spreading and chip runner, laying asphalt and screeding.
About you:
Ideally you will have current or previous civil construction experience however applicants with similar experience in farming, building, landscaping or agriculture will be considered also.
Additionally:
- Full car driver's licence and Class 2 licence are essential
- Class 4 is desirable
- Experience with asphalt is preferred
- Hard working and reliable
- Good level of physical fitness with stamina to carry out physically demanding tasks
- Work well as part of a team and independently
- Able to pass pre employment drug testing
- Follows Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Site Safe would be helpful but not essential
