- Inspect damaged vehicles at garages, accident sites, or customer premises.
- Assess the extent of damage and estimate repair costs.
- Verify the validity of claims and check for possible fraud.
- Liaise with repairers, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed survey and assessment reports.
- Advise claims handlers and underwriters on claim settlements.
- Negotiate with garages and customers regarding repair methods and costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each claim.
- Provide technical guidance to claims teams as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with related experience in insurance or surveyor.
- Prior experience in motor claims assessment, vehicle repair, or insurance is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of motor vehicle construction, repair methods, and insurance processes.
- Analytical and investigative skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills .
- Attention to detail and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
