Claims Adjuster

About This Role

The Claims Adjuster reviews, assesses, and processes warranty claims, providing administrative and operational support for claims management. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of claims files, working closely with internal departments, dealerships, and customers to maintain an efficient process and high level of service. It suits a candidate with strong analytical and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess warranty and claims submissions for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Process approved claims and ensure timely payments and documentation updates
• Communicate with dealerships, customers, and vendors regarding claim status, required documentation, and claim resolutions
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims activity within the claims management system
• Investigate discrepancies, gather supporting information, and escalate complex claims issues as required
• Monitor claims inboxes and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient claims processing and customer support
• Prepare reports and summaries related to claims activity, trends, and outstanding items
• Assist with identifying process improvements to support operational efficiency and service standards
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of customer and company information
• Support administrative functions related to claims processing and departmental operations
• Carry out other duties reasonably related to the role, as assigned by management

Requirements

• College diploma or degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review documentation accurately
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in claims processing, customer service, administration, or a related role
• Bilingual communication skills

Important Details

• Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
• Work format: hybrid or remote
• Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, training sessions, company events, or support business operations
• Deadline pressures, stress of multi-tasking, communicating, and interacting diplomatically with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
