This role involves working with varied and interesting claims cases where insurance terms, legal aspects, and practical boat conditions converge. You will be a key part of the customer's journey through the claims process, from initial notification to investigation, assessment, and decision-making. The position suits a person who enjoys investigating, analyzing, and finding solutions, and who is confident in making decisions and explaining them clearly and customer-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, analyze, and find solutions for boat insurance claims
- Make decisions and explain them clearly and customer-friendly
- Take responsibility for your own cases
- Work in close contact with colleagues, customers, workshops, surveyors, and other partners
Requirements
- Structured and meticulous
- Analytical and solution-oriented
- Independent but enjoys collaboration
- Communicative and professional in customer contact
- Comfortable reading and interpreting insurance terms and legal texts
- Responsible and accustomed to managing cases from start to finish
- Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- At least a high school education
- Knowledge of boats, marine operations, or boat repairs
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
- Quick to learn different computer systems and good computer skills
- Accustomed to working in a team and having common goals
Nice to have:
- Experience in claims adjustment or insurance
- Experience in insurance law or legal case handling
- Experience working with surveyors, shipyards, or workshops
