About This Role

This Civil & Structural 3D Modeler position involves creating accurate 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams and a focus on quality control, making it suitable for an experienced professional in structural design.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models using SP3D, E3D, or PDMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and documentation as required
• Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation for design and drafting tasks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate structural designs into overall project plans
• Support material handling projects through effective design and modeling
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all designs meet industry standards and client requirements
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in structural design

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in structural design
• Proficiency in 3D modeling platforms (SP3D, E3D, PDMS) is essential
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and MicroStation are required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience with Tekla is preferred
• Familiarity with material handling projects is a plus
