About the Role: We are seeking Civil Engineers to support civil and structural design review, construction supervision, quality monitoring, and site verification for a renewable energy infrastructure project in Oman. The role covers foundations, access roads, drainage, cable trenches, buildings, substation civil structures, and related balance-of-plant civil works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review civil and structural drawings, calculations, specifications, technical submissions, and construction method statements.
- Supervise civil works including foundations, roads, drainage systems, buildings, cable trenches, control rooms, and other site infrastructure.
- Monitor civil construction quality including geotechnical works, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, testing, and inspection activities.
- Coordinate civil interfaces with electrical, wind, solar PV, BESS, grid, and other project disciplines.
- Witness inspections and tests in accordance with approved inspection and test plans and project quality procedures.
- Identify civil construction risks, non-conformances, progress concerns, and support corrective actions.
- Provide civil discipline input to progress reports, technical meetings, quality reviews, and close-out documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil/structural design review, construction supervision, or site engineering on power generation, renewable energy, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Experience with foundations, access roads, drainage, cable trenches, substations, buildings, or balance-of-plant works.
- Experience in wind turbine foundations, solar PV/BESS civil works, or substation civil works is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction quality control, inspection and test plans, geotechnical verification, concrete works, and applicable standards.
- Strong coordination, reporting, and site problem-solving skills.
