About This Role
This Civil Engineer role is an opportunity to join the Land/Site Development Team, working on dynamic and complex civil development projects such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses. The position is suitable for a licensed PE or an EIT ready to advance their career, bringing strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for creating innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
- Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation
Requirements
- 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
- Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
- Excellent communication and project management skills
