About This Role
As Christmas Bar Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a festive bar during the busy Christmas trading period. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality and enjoys creating memorable customer experiences in a lively environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the Christmas bar, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, motivate and support the bar team, creating a positive and friendly working environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable festive experience.
- Manage staff rotas, shift organisation and team breaks in line with operational requirements.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared and served to a high standard.
- Monitor stock levels, manage deliveries and minimise waste.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation, health and safety.
- Ensure licensing requirements and responsible alcohol service procedures are followed.
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues professionally.
- Work closely with the wider management team to maximise sales and create a fantastic festive atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous bar or hospitality management experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence in leading, motivating and supporting a team.
- Organised, reliable and able to take initiative.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Positive, hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
- Flexibility with working hours throughout the five-week festive trading period.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and busy seasonal trading days.
- Reliable commute to and from Beverley town centre.
- Aged 18 or over, due to the nature of the role and alcohol service requirements.
Nice to have:

Important Details
- Schedule: Approximately 30 to 40 hours per week during the seasonal position covering 6 weeks of Christmas trading.
