Childcare worker

Schedule

• Sundays: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Wednesdays: 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Additional hours may be available for special church programs, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive care for infants and young children.
• Ensure the nursery remains safe, clean, and welcoming.
• Engage children with age-appropriate toys, books, music, and activities.
• Comfort children and communicate effectively with parents.
• Follow all nursery safety procedures and church child protection policies.
• Work cooperatively with church staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, caring, and patient.
• Enjoy working with infants and young children.
• Childcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children on the floor, at play, and during daily care activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to providing excellent care.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
