About This Role
This Chief Operating Officer role is for a commercially astute and well-connected individual to join a rapidly expanding European slot game studio. The position requires a deep understanding of the slot game industry, particularly from the supplier side, and a strong network across operators, aggregators, platforms, and other key industry partners. It is a hands-on role with significant influence on the company's growth, operations, and market positioning.
Responsibilities
- Take a key role in the overall commercial and operational direction of the studio
- Build and develop relationships with operators, aggregators, platforms, and strategic partners
- Lead high-level commercial discussions and negotiations
- Use your network to create new opportunities and strengthen the studio's position in the market
- Work closely with product, commercial, and leadership teams around launches, distribution, and growth
- Improve processes and help the company scale without creating unnecessary corporate layers
- Identify opportunities, problems, and bottlenecks before they become obvious
- Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and conferences
- Travel regularly across Europe and internationally when required
- Take ownership and get things done
Requirements
- Strong experience working for a real-money online slot/game studio
- A genuine understanding of slot games, studios, and the wider supplier ecosystem
- An established network within the iGaming industry
- Strong commercial instincts and exceptional negotiation skills
- Experience dealing directly with operators, aggregators, platforms, and/or other strategic partners
- A track record of performing extremely well in your current or previous role
- The ability to operate independently and take ownership without needing a huge corporate structure around you
- The confidence to work with senior executives, founders, and external partners
- The ability and willingness to travel frequently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Likeable, credible, energetic, and commercially switched on personality
- Passion for the industry and enjoyment of discussing games
