Chief of Staff

About This Role

This Chief of Staff role involves working directly with the founding team to manage Stoa's operating priorities and lead various projects across the business. The successful candidate will oversee the company's operating cadence and corporate governance processes, ensuring that decisions translate into clear actions and successful delivery. The position requires independent judgment and discretion, with responsibility for seeing projects through from initial brief to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across operations, finance, legal, people, and customer matters, from initial scope through completion
• Coordinate weekly priorities with the founding team, maintain the scorecard and decision log, and track commitments through completion
• Manage board materials and consents, investor updates and information rights, counsel and vendor relationships, and the compliance calendar
• Prepare the founders for external meetings and manage the resulting correspondence and actions
• Maintain accurate records across the issue tracker, CRM, cap table, and document vault
• Use the company's AI agents in daily operations and extend their capabilities to improve recurring workflows
