About This Role
This role involves building a marketing strategy ready for international scale, developing a new brand for European markets, and leading the marketing team. The Chief Marketing Officer will define the brand's direction, build a strong team, and translate marketing strategy into business results. It suits a leader who enjoys building, can make decisions, and wants to co-create business development.
Responsibilities
- Build mybox marketing strategy, defining customer segments, brand positioning, and value proposition, then translating them into a concrete action plan, budget, and measurable goals
- Prepare and implement market entry into new markets, starting with Romania, then co-creating the strategy for further expansion, adapting communication, outreach channels, and marketing activities to local needs and competition
- Build and develop the marketing team, defining necessary competencies, acquiring suitable individuals, and creating a work method based on clear priorities, autonomy, and accountability for results
- Combine brand building with performance marketing, ensuring a consistent, distinctive brand image and effective customer acquisition, linking long-term brand value creation with current growth objectives
- Co-own business results, working with the CEO and leaders of other areas to define marketing goals related to revenue, profitability, and customer base growth
- Develop the entire customer journey in collaboration with product, sales, and customer service teams, ensuring a smooth transition from first brand contact to purchase, active service use, and long-term relationships
- Manage the marketing budget and efficiency, defining a new way of measuring results (using advanced analytics based on data, not just intuition), evaluating channel profitability, and making investment decisions based on data, tests, and business goals
- Translate technology into understandable value for customers, working with product teams to develop communication that shows what problems are solved and why services should be chosen
- Combine strategy with execution, being closely involved in operational activities during the early stage of brand development: helping launch campaigns, testing ideas, and removing obstacles that slow growth

- Documented success in scaling a brand or business, demonstrating results, explaining contributions, and identifying decisions that led to them
- Practical experience in introducing products or brands to foreign markets, including strategy preparation and implementation
- Ability to build and develop teams, from defining necessary competencies and recruitment to setting goals, developing people, and evaluating results
