Chief Information Officer Intern

About This Role

Supporting the design and oversight of information technology frameworks to enable secure and efficient operations across venture capital and private equity activities is the core of this remote internship. The role suits an intern who will assist with IT strategy development, help manage IT operations, and contribute to improving business processes through technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IT strategy development
• Help manage IT operations

• Work with senior leaders to evaluate IT tools
• Document system requirements
• Support the implementation of policies related to data security, infrastructure, and digital collaboration
• Produce clear documentation
• Prepare presentations
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure technology initiatives align with business objectives

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Information Technology and IT Operations, with the ability to understand core infrastructure, security, and application environments
• Interest or experience in IT Management and IT Strategy, including supporting the planning and governance of technology initiatives
• Knowledge of Business Process analysis and improvement, with the capacity to map workflows and identify opportunities for automation or optimization
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly in written and verbal formats
• Comfort with data analysis tools, productivity software, and collaborative platforms commonly used in investment or professional services firms
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a fast-paced setting
