Chief Information Officer

About This Role

This leadership role is responsible for setting and executing the information technology vision and strategy for the organization. The Chief Information Officer will oversee all IT operations, from infrastructure and applications to cybersecurity and data management, ensuring that systems are secure and reliable. The role suits a technology leader who can drive digital transformation in construction project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall information technology vision, strategy, and execution across the organization
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data management, and support services
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business priorities
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement technology roadmaps
• Optimize business processes and support digital transformation initiatives in construction project delivery
• Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships
• Establish governance and policies
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members
• Monitor technology trends and evaluate new solutions
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and business performance

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions
• Proven experience in IT Operations, with the ability to manage day-to-day support, system reliability, and service delivery
• Demonstrated IT Management skills, including team leadership, resource planning, and vendor management
• Expertise in IT Strategy, with a track record of aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals and growth plans
• Experience in Business Process analysis and optimization, preferably within construction, engineering, or related industries
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and change management capabilities in complex, fast-paced settings
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
