About This Role
This executive leadership role focuses on bringing strategy, technology, data, and delivery together to drive Rockit Global's digital future. The Chief Information Officer will shape the company's integrated, globally connected business and make technology and information a competitive advantage as part of an ambitious global growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Shape Rockit's digital future and build an integrated, globally connected business
- Drive technology strategy, digital transformation, and disciplined delivery from the packhouse to the Board table
- Work alongside the CEO to simplify systems, unlock the value of information and emerging technology, and build capability that supports commercial growth
- Bring structure and rhythm to a rich technology landscape
- Establish a clear roadmap, strengthen governance, and lead an enterprise-wide PMO that delivers high-impact business outcomes
- Build a high-performing team across IT, business systems, and project management
- Create the capability, confidence, and accountability to deliver at pace
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide technology, digital, and transformation portfolios at executive level, in complex environments
- Experience with a global remit, with an understanding of supply chain, operational environments, and the challenges of connecting systems, people, and data across markets
- Commercial acumen and critical thinking to influence investment decisions and engage confidently at the Board table
- Ability to simplify before scaling, whether modernizing core platforms, introducing enterprise systems, or strengthening data governance
- Delivery leadership, having led programs of change and established effective portfolio governance
- Relationship-first approach, collaborative and an exceptional listener, building trust and credibility with ease
- Understanding of what 'great' looks like and hands-on pragmatism
- Curiosity and modern thinking underpinning an approach to emerging technology, automation, and AI
- Smart, authentic, and without ego, bringing energy, sound judgment, and a genuine passion for developing people and making things better
- Must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa
