Chief Financial Officer

About This Role

Leading the financial vision and driving long-term growth for Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is the core of this Chief Financial Officer role. As a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will oversee all financial operations, guide strategic initiatives, and ensure the organization’s financial stability. This role also involves providing leadership and direction to the accounting team, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and excellence across all accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead FLP's financial strategy, planning, and forecasting to support sustainable growth and profitability
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Provide strategic recommendations to the President and leadership team based on financial analysis and projections
• Oversee cash flow planning, capital management, and financial risk mitigation strategies
• Oversee job costing, project financial performance, progress billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost control processes
• Evaluate project profitability, financial risks, and operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls
• Collaborate with operations and other company leaders to align financial goals with project execution and overall business objectives
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, management reports, and financial forecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
• 5+ years of financial leadership experience, including senior management or executive roles (required)
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Reliable means of transportation
• Clear background screen
• Strong understanding of construction finance, including job costing, progress billing, project profitability analysis, and cost controls
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
