About This Role
This strategic leadership position holds overall responsibility for the company's financial strategy, performance, governance, and long-term financial sustainability. The Chief Financial Officer will join the senior leadership team of a well-established multinational organization with a significant presence in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Lead all core finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, controlling, and financial planning
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership team, supporting key commercial and operational decisions
- Lead the annual budgeting, business planning, and forecasting processes, ensuring robust financial discipline and accountability
- Drive monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews, providing clear analysis of business performance, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian regulations, accounting standards, and Group reporting requirements
- Evaluate major investments, acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities from a financial and commercial perspective
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, tax authorities, investors, and other financial institutions as appropriate
- Work closely with the CEO, Board, regional leadership, and other senior stakeholders, providing insight and strategic guidance to support business growth
Requirements
- An established finance leader with a strong track record in large, complex multinational organizations
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, controls, and financial management
- Strong English and Indonesian Bahasa communication skills are essential
Nice to have:
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Big 4 audit training is preferred
