Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and licensed caregivers with CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey to join our dedicated team. As a Licensed Hourly Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need.
Responsibilities:
Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
Medication Management: Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and ensure compliance.
Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
Meal Preparation: Assist with planning and preparing nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living space for clients.
Mobility Support: Aid clients in mobility exercises and accompany them on walks or outings as needed.
Communication: Keep detailed records of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
Qualifications:
CHHA Certification: Must possess a valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey.
Licensed Caregiver: Valid license to practice as a caregiver in the state of New Jersey.
Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individuals with diverse needs.
Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts are essential.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
