Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
Licensed Chemist is an advantage but not required for candidates with significant relevant industry experience
with at least 2–5 years of experience in formulating household or institutional cleaning products
Strong knowledge of surfactants, detergents, emulsifiers, preservatives, fragrances, thickeners, chelating agents, and other formulation raw materials
Experience in quality control testing methods for cleaning products.
Proficient in using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, analytical balances, and stability testing procedures
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Able to manage multiple formulation and product development projects
Key Responsibilities
Research, develop, and optimize cleaning product formulations
Improve existing products for cleaning performance, foam quality, viscosity, fragrance stability, appearance, and cost-effectiveness
Develop quality control procedures and product specifications
Evaluate and recommend raw materials and new ingredients from suppliers
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate laboratory records and technical documentation
