Job Description

• We are looking for a responsible candidate to manage the kitchen and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining food quality, hygiene, stock, and smooth coordination among kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations:

• Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Supervise food preparation and timely service.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate kitchen activities during busy service hours.

Team Management

• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff.
• Allocate daily duties among team members.
• Guide and support kitchen staff to maintain proper work standards.
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, and teamwork within the kitchen.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor stock of raw materials, ingredients, and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Inform management about stock shortages and purchasing requirements.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain effective stock utilisation.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and preparation of food.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
