Chauffeur

About This Role

Transporting vehicles between branches and driving customers, employees, or vendors safely to their destinations are the core functions of this part-time chauffeur role. The position requires a responsible and dedicated individual who can provide courteous and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Transport fleet vehicles from one branch to another
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or outside a given region, respecting the Highway Safety Code
• Drive clients and vehicles to appropriate destinations, safely and courteously
• Travel with another chauffeur to deliver or pick up one or more vehicles
• Organize the route sheet and ensure documents are completed correctly
• Communicate using a cell phone or other communication system
• Clean vehicles and/or ensure they remain clean during transport
• Assist customers by providing directions, explaining vehicle features, and basic procedures
• Help customers with their luggage, assist them in entering or exiting the vehicle, and meet their needs
• Perform various tasks related to the position

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license issued by the province of Quebec with:
• 36 months or more of driving experience
• No more than 2 traffic offenses and/or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related sanctions on driving record in the last 5 years
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and not require sponsorship by our company now or in the future
• Able to lift loads weighing up to 30 pounds
• Aside from religious obligations, must be able to work the following hours: 25 hours per week, varying from Monday to Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)
