About the role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience to independently manage and oversee the company's complete finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, statutory compliance, effective internal controls, and timely financial reporting while supporting the management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management

  • Manage and oversee the company's complete accounting and finance functions.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely accounting of all financial transactions.
  • Review General Ledger, Journal Entries, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and overall financial position.
  • Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of bank, vendor, customer, and other accounts.
  • Monitor expenses and maintain effective financial controls.
  • Prepare financial reports, MIS, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

  • Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, Advance Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
  • Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and other statutory filings.
  • Handle GST reconciliations and ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Review tax calculations and ensure timely payment of statutory dues.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities whenever required.
  • Keep the company updated regarding changes in applicable tax laws and regulations.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, tax, and other applicable audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, reconciliations, and financial information.
  • Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Identify financial and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.

MIS & Management Reporting

  • Prepare regular MIS and financial performance reports for management.
  • Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and financial performance.
  • Provide meaningful financial insights to management for business decisions.
  • Assist management with budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Track financial KPIs and highlight areas requiring management attention.

Business & Finance Support

  • Advise management on financial, taxation, accounting, and compliance matters.
  • Assist in financial planning and business strategy.
  • Evaluate financial implications of major business decisions.
  • Monitor cost efficiency and identify opportunities for improving profitability.
  • Develop and improve accounting and financial processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and financial discipline across the organization.

Candidate Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Auditing, Compliance, and Financial Reporting.
  • Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to independently manage the company's finance and accounts functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Ability to work with management, auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Candidates who can take complete ownership of finance, accounts, taxation, audit, and compliance responsibilities will be preferred.
