About the role
Role Overview: Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical support based on patient census. Acts as a resource and communicates patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
- RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure
- BCLS certification required
- Advanced specialty certification, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and unit-specific certifications required based on specialty and unit needs
- Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified
