About the role
Role: Responsible for leading and coordinating nursing activities on a cardiac telemetry unit, providing direct patient care, and acting as a clinical resource for staff.
Key Duties: Facilitates care planning and delivery, assesses patient needs, develops and implements complex individualized care plans, and promotes evidence-based practices.
Leads quality improvement efforts, evaluates patient and family experiences, and encourages professional development and practice advancement. Ensures adherence to safety standards and hospital protocols.
Qualifications & Skills: RN licensure, 2-5 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience, preferred BSN and 5-10 years of experience. Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills required.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee unit activities, ensure safe and effective patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support staff development. Maintain compliance with standards and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
